Meet Jules

After having completed an Information Systems degree at university, Jules worked for two large multi-national companies, including part of the Capita Group. Jules found that creating websites for a blue chip company was very restrictive, so he joined Lifetime in September 2005 to manage the design team and to have a more hands on approach with both the technical and creative design of websites.

Jules combines technical expertise with creative flair in a combination that is perfect for the production of innovative websites and bespoke business solutions. These solutions are clean, classy and efficient; a modern philosophy that is conducive to creating quality websites that stand the test of time.

With a background in Marketing, Jules also has experience of all aspects of website branding and promotion, including producing eNewsletters, search engine positioning and proof-reading.

Jules is a rare breed. He is a laidback, intellectual guy who knows loads of stuff about loads of subjects, some of which is useful! Jules can turn his hand to anything where analytical and logical thought is required to resolve both technical and creative issues. This simply means that if there’s something which needs perceptive and imaginative resolution, Jules is your man!

Jules is skilled at using Adobe PhotoShop, designing website concepts, company logos and graphical icons on a daily basis. His development skills encompass all aspects of website design, from simple HTML through to complex database manipulation, including HTML, CSS, ASP, PHP, JavaScript and JQuery. Database solutions are a speciality for Jules, who has experience in using MS Access, MS SQL Server, XML and MS Excel.

Outside of work, Jules loves the big screen, with his collection boasting well over 1000 films. He has an interest in all areas of design, including product design, interior design and architecture. Football is his favourite sport, and although he doesn’t support a particular team, he has a vast knowledge of the game, which helps him win at fantasy football! He loves to play football and snooker whenever he gets the chance and one day would like to play golf to a reasonable standard. He is a dab hand at pub games; whether it is pool, darts or bar billiards, Jules has several trophies to prove his talents.
