Google search results contain paid for advertising that they call Sponsored Links. To us, they are known as AdWords campaigns. A Google AdWords campaign is one of the most effective forms of advertising. You can select the keywords and keyphrases that you want your advert to appear for. You can target a specific geographical region, show your advert at a specific time of day and you can choose the gender and age demographics that your advert will appeal to. You can then see how your advert is performing for each keyword/phrase, you can see how many people clicked on your advert and whether they went on to buy something or reach any other specific 'goal'.
