Digital Media & Marketing >> Using Google's Tools
Google Analytics is a statistics gathering and analysis system that allows you to track the visitors to your website. It allows you to specify 'goals' that a user can achieve, such as completing an order, sending a contact email or signing up for an account and then displays statistics about how well your website is achieving those goals.
Google Keywords Tool
This tool helps you work out which keywords and keyphrases to use within your website META tags or within your Google AdWords Campaign. By feeding it two or three generic keywords, the tool will suggest hundreds of similar words and phrases for you to consider and will tell you how many searches were made on each one.

Local Business Center
The Local Business Center is a directory of businesses and the addresses at which they are located. When a user searches for a product or service along with a town name, they are shown a small map with businesses listed in that area that match the search criteria. This tool helps you add and maintain your business information within the directory.
The Sitemaps tool is essentially a facility to provide Google with a list of the pages that are available on your website. Once added to the system, Google's website indexing robots can then visit each page and analyse it for future inclusion in their database.
